Barry Richards is a Principal and Studio Leader at Rockwell Group. His education includes undergraduate degrees in Painting and Architecture at the University of Washington, and a Master of Architecture at Princeton University. He has worked with clients such as Disney, FAO Schwarz, Barnes & Noble and Alessi, designing products ranging from kitchen accessories to jewelry. Barry has been with Rockwell Group since 1997, leading product development, special projects and set design.

His projects include overseeing the creative direction of Imagination Playground, the Walt Disney Family Museum; set designs for film, television and theater, including the 2009 and 2010 Academy Awards ceremonies, Team America: World Police, Hairspray, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, All Shook Up, Legally Blonde, Elf and Catch Me If You Can, several residences and the design of special event spaces for DIFFA, Absolut Vodka, Swarovski Crystals, GE and St. Pauli Girl. He has also worked with clients such as The Rug Company, Dennis Miller, Maya Romanoff, Desiron, Leucos and Saloni Ceramica, designing products ranging from rugs to wallpaper to seating.
