Exhibit

We’ll showcase all winning entries from 2011 Annual Design Review in an exhibit at the AIGA National Design Center in New York. Dates coming soon!

In the meantime, check out images from last year’s exhibit, which took place from August 30 to September 10. The opening reception was held on September 1 to recognize winners, and Christine Navin documented the event in photos.

Christine Navin is a photographer, graphic designer, and publisher. In her portrait photography, Navin has the ability to make any subject appear glamorous yet wistful. She is equally fond of traveling to desolate locations to photograph abandoned buildings and sites that embody a decrepit beauty. In 2000, Navin created Cheap & Plastique, an art publication, to showcase her design aesthetic and her knack for picking out emerging talents in the art world. She has published 7 editions and has since started a companion blog. Navin spends her days designing for the New York City Ballet and her nights photographing various people and places. Christine Navin currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
